Armis Polo is extremely proud to be kit out Luke Tomlinson this summer, he has been fortunate to play polo biggest stages all around the world including Captaining the England team for over a decade and leading the team out for the Coronation Cup at Guards Polo Club. We caught up with Luke, who has established himself as one of the England’s and the world’s best polo players. His last run out for England was for the Coronation Cup team against the Commonwealth in 2017.
Here, Luke joins us to talk exclusively about his polo career, what inspires him and the official Armis Polo Helmet.
Q – When did your Polo career begin?
A – I started playing club polo at the age of 10 or 11 for just for 2/3 months a year but I waited until I finished university before embarking professionally on a career.
Q – Having played around the world, what top tournaments have you used the Armis Helmet in?
A – I have only had my Armis helmet since the beginning of this season and so far I have played the Duke of Sutherland, Royal Windsor, Cicero Cup and the Prince of Wales’ cup is coming up.

A – My parents and Grandfather, Arthur Lucas
Q – Who were your childhood Polo idols?
A – Carlos Gracida, Milo Fernandez-Araujo
Q – What attracted you to the Armis Brand?

Q – If you could spend the day with anyone in the world, who would you choose?
A – My wife and children but a day with Donald Trump could be quite an eye opener!

A – No, I am not superstitious, but I do believe in a good pre-match routine.
